But I swear, I've learnt Spanish! I'm not completely dependent on Google translator.
I know what "lo siento", "no", "mucho" and "hoy" means!
So my VPN and Messenger is being all wonky, hence this blogpost may not be as epic as the one I previously typed out before (because Safari didn't freakin' save. /Ragequit life).
I'm too used to my internet being all hunky dorky, I suppose. Time for adaptation.
Impossible is just a word for "no one's done it YET".
I need to motivate people. So:
Extended Essay: 4,000 words.
Theory of Knowledge: 1,200 to 1,500 words.
English: Two 1,000 words essays on (one or two) books of my choice that have been taught in the syllabus. (Slaughterhouse-Five, Perfume, etc.)
Chemistry: Ionization Energy: The energy required to convert one mole of gaseous atoms into ions with a single positive charge. (This is just a brief description in my handwritten notes, mind you.)
Spanish: ... Really? As if my first paragraph didn't tell you enough.
And it goes on and on.
"It must be a zinger, it sucks to be you" fits this situation to a T, I do believe.
So, in conclusion:
Os aren't so bad. Have fun with it, and do well, yeah? And for anyone doing F&N: I wanna eat it.
Now, As and IB on the other hand... (I'm not considering Poly because it's more hands-on, and you could technically already focus on specific career aspects. Granted, a diploma isn't going to get you far, but hey. It's something.)
Bitch bitch bitch. Fastest way to University, though. We must do this for a reason. So we can sit on our butts and get paid off-days in the future because we're the damn CEO - or someone else as important.
Can't believe I went for it because of my future. Tch, y'know, the thing that might not exist if 2012 happens? Alien contact, possibility of Biotics/The Force occuring? Oh well.
Doing this for my future.
For my life.
... For a hot beautiful, understanding, amazing, all-round perfect-for-me spouse and penthouse suite in New York. (Because y'know, I'm not looking to be a cougar or a sorority girl who parties 24/7 in University. Coughahem. Nudge, nudge.)
This is madness. No.
THIS.
IS.
SPARTAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!
I'm sorry. I couldn't resist.
So yes.
This year will be difficult for all of us. Kim with Year 12, me with trying to grasp IB, Sherilyn and all the other MG girls with their future endeavors, Mick with his last year of As and the rest of the St Margs Sec 5 cohort with O levels.
And we'll probably (I'm speaking for myself and the easily distracted, really, so no, not you Kimberly) stumble, screw up and lose gas midway through because of all the bullshit flying our way. But despite stalling,
Said in an epic voice:
WE MUST PUSH OUR METAPHORICAL CARS TO THE METAPHORICAL GAS STATION TO TOP UP ON METAPHORICAL GAS SO THAT WE MAY CONTINUE OUR METAPHORICAL JOURNEY
TO.
LAS.
VEGAS.
Because they're cool there.
"Heavy risk... But the priiizeee."
- Mass Effect 2, Jacob Taylor, Worst Romance Dialogue ever. (But so damn funny.)
Let's go, fellow 90s children. Through the fire and flames!
ONWARDS TO VICTORY!!!
P.S: Look at how many references to pop culture I've made in this post. Awesomeness. I'mma try and beat this number out in my next post. Or something or other.
